The British boxer is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight-bout match which will be broadcast live on the streaming platform.
Briton Joshua said he will "dominate completely" the American and "overpower" the American as the two fighters met personally to publicize the upcoming bout.
Former twice unified boxing king Anthony Joshua battles social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, theoretically, a mammoth uneven pairing - at Miami Kaseya Center on December 19th.
Boxer's Attitude
"I will injure his face and hurt his body. I'm here to prove I'm superior," the British boxer, 35, declared.
"I will dominate him completely. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I intend to genuinely try to cause him pain. That's my intention."
Civil Interaction
In spite of such comments, a composed Joshua and social media star Paul - normally famous for his theatrics - shared friendly words and maintained decorum with each other.
Paul instead targeted former Joshua opponent the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian declined a fight offer.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, targeted UK opponent Fury - and rejected a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a victory for Paul.
"Jake Paul is superior to Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer stated.
"I acknowledge that."
Legitimate Opponent
In spite of stating he plans to damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua chose not to comment unfavorably about his rival's fighting skills.
"Jake Paul is a credible opponent," he stated.
Paul's History
Jake Paul - who first rose to fame on the Disney Channel - has primarily boxed MMA fighters or past-their-prime fighters since entering professional boxing.
He lost to Briton Tommy Fury in 2023.
Financial Attraction
Still, the novice is still one of the sport's greatest commercial attractions, frequently receiving massive financial rewards.
Prediction and Belief
The 28-year-old predicted a KO victory in round four or five and stated he would stop the highly-expected Joshua–Fury fight, which is reportedly being planned for two years from now.
"The next fight will be myself against Tyson Fury next year," Paul stated.
Physical Difference
As the two fighters met for the customary face-off, with their physical disparity clearly visible, it emphasized just how unlikely this whole event is - and how amazing it is that the match is truly proceeding.
